Short description:

Volunteer to help with the development of the Tawharanui Open Sanctuary.

Description:

What is it? A project aiming to combine the restoration of flora and fauna, a farming operation, and the recreation activities on the Park.

Who is involved? The Tawharanui Open Sanctuary Society Incorporated is the main ARC partnership involved in the development of the Tawharanui Open Sanctuary. 

Where do I go?Meet at the Tawharanui Woolshed (across the road from the Park office)

What shall I bring? Good footwear and weather appropriate clothing. You will be informed if anything else is required.

What's in it for me? Coffee, tea, cold drink and biscuits. Training and equipment provided.

Do I need to book? No.

 A low-medium level of fitness is required. This group meets on the 1st Sunday of every month except January. Volunteers can offer further time by arranging with TOSSI or the Northern Parks office.
