The Seekers by Tanya Blong, Art in the Woolshed 2008
Tawharanui Regional Park
6 - 14 March, 10am to 5pm
Tawharanui Open Sanctuary Society (TOSSI) is holding its fifth summer art exhibition of paintings, sculpture, glass and ceramics at Tawharanui Regional Park in March 2010. The artists include some of New Zealand's best known, many of whom have exhibited at all our previous exhibitions. First-time exhibitors will also be represented. The exhibition is free and will be the bigger and better than ever!
Proceeds from the 2010 exhibition will be used to continue the vital work of habitat restoration, predator control and re-introduction of endangered species at the open sanctuary.
To get to Tawharanui Regional Park take State Highway 1 north to Warkworth. Follow the signs to Matakana. Just past Matakana turn right at the Omaha turn off, drive along Takatu Rd and the park is well sign posted. (Note: the last 6km of the route is a winding gravel road).
