Ambury

Take your little one for a stroll at Ambury. The most accessible track is the Farm Walk but the Foreshore Walk and Lost Garden's Walk are possible too.

The Arataki Nature Trail has a metal surface making it accessible for prams.

Atiu Creek

Access for prams is possible around most of the park following the formed roads. The roads have a good surface for off-road prams to explore the views or walk to the harbour. There are steep sections of road and you may need to lift your pram over gates at times.

Auckland Botanic Gardens

There are many sealed paths for prams. Don't forget to check out the Potter Children's garden or take a ride on the Wiri Rambler tractor.

Awhitu

Awhitu is largely pram friendly. Walks may be challenging in places and are dependant on conditions.

Cascades

Take your pram on the Auckland City Walk.

Duder

Pram walks
It is possible to access the stockyards with a pram, possibly beyond. Whakakaiwhara Pa Walk is accessible but may be challenging in places and are dependant on conditions.

Huia

The lower part of the Karamatura Loop Walk is suitable for prams.

Hunua Ranges

Pram walks
It is possible to take a pram to all four dams from the carparks. Most of the walks are not suitable for prams. It is possible to access the lower Hunua Falls lookout, but you'll need to negiotiate a few steps.

Long Bay

The picnic area and the beach are pram friendly. Access is not suitable north of the main beach due to rocks and stairs.

Mahurangi

Pram walks
Sullivans Bay has reasonable pram access across the grass picnic areas. Scotts Point board walk is great for prams, there are two short sections where you may need to carry the pram over the sand. Cudlip Point Loop Track and Mita Bay Loop Track are pram accessible but may be challenging in places and are dependant on conditions.

Omana

Pram walks
There is pram access to the playground and BBQ area. Perimeter walk is pram accessible but may be challenging in places and is dependant on conditions.

Scandrett

Pram walks
Scandrett is suitable for pram access especially if remaining at beach level. Some steep tracks would make pram access challenging but still possible.

Shakespear

Pram walks
All beaches have reasonable pram access with Okoromai Bay having large grassy flat areas. There are also grass verges along all the roads suitable for prams. If you park at the lookout carpark you can take your pram to the lookout. You'll need to push your pram over the two cattlestops to get to there.

Tawharanui

Pram walks
Suitable for pram access, especially if remaining at beach level at Anchor Bay and Jones Bay picnic areas. There are some steep tracks, farm paddocks and dirt farm tracks which would be challenging but still possible.

Waharau

Pram walks
The Lower Link Track Loop could be possible but challenging.

Wenderholm

Pram walks
Pram friendly park with access throughout the picnic area, the beach and Couldrey House Lookout Track. However access is not suitable south of the beach due to rocks.
