AucklandPlus

AucklandPlus is Auckland's regional economic development agency and is a business unit of the Auckland Regional Council.

Its role is to implement key elements of the Auckland Regional Economic Development Strategy, in particular:

• regional promotion to attract national and international business and investment to the Auckland region
• acting as a single point of contact for current and potential investors. This includes information management and communications, promotion, enquiry response and aftercare
• facilitating regional economic development projects (large, multi-agency, cross-boundary/council projects that receive external funding).
  

AucklandPlus is leading many of the actions developed in the Metro Project Action Plan which has been developed from the Auckland Regional Economic Development Strategy.
