Teacher's information

Programming and group size

• 1 to 3 classes per day depending on location and programme.
• Minimum numbers will apply - primary school minimum of 20, secondary school minimum of 10.
• Classes are divided into groups of approximately 20 students.
• Sessions are usually 11/2 to 2 hours duration.
• These can be adapted to your individual requirements.
• Some programmes last a whole day.

Teacher resources

• One copy of the teacher's resource pack is free of charge to each school (not self guided schools).
• Subsequent copies will be charged at normal retail cost.
• A pack will be sent prior to your visit. This includes an equipment list for students and guidelines for supervision.

Bus subsidy

• A bus subsidy of 50-75% is available for decile 1 - 3 schools participating in education programmes. Complete option B on the booking form. You will be notified by letter if your application is successful.

Rubbish free parks

• Rubbish bins are not provided at most parks.
• Please take home your litter where it can be recycled.
