Our coast: Explains the values of the region’s coast, and how healthy the marine environment is. Also describes how the management of the coast is shared between agencies and highlights the issues of coastal development and erosion.
Hauraki Gulf Forum: The Hauraki Gulf Forum promotes conservation and sustainable management of the Hauraki Gulf. This section outlines the purpose and functions of the Forum, its membership and activities. Also describes the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park Act and the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park.
Coastal projects: Links to a number of ARC projects happening throughout the region. This section links to pages on mangrove management and Auckland city’s waterfront; and to the Pahurehure Inlet, Waiuku Estuary and Algies Bay management plans.
Aquaculture: Aquaculture, or marine farming, is an expanding industry in New Zealand. These pages provide an overview of what aquaculture is, the industry within the Auckland region and the legislation and policy framework we use to regulate it.

Coastal plan: Outlines the framework to promote and implement the integrated and sustainable management of the Auckland region's coastal environment.
Harbourmaster: The Harbourmaster’s mission is to provide navigational safety, efficient management and marine oil spill response for the region’s waters.
Sustainable catchment programme: The Sustainable Catchment Programme (SCP) provides an integrated planning and implementation framework that enables the council to prioritise and deliver interventions into catchments to address the long term health of priority harbours.
