TP58: On-site Wastewater Systems: Design and Management Manual, Third Edition

The ARC has developed TP58 as guidelines for the on-site land disposal of domestic wastewater in the Auckland region.

The revised third version of TP58 is the ARC's guideline for assessing site conditions for land disposal systems and designing and managing performance of on-site wastewater treatment and disposal systems to minimise adverse effects on receiving soils, public health and on ultimate receiving waters in our region.

The current version of TP58 is not available online yet as it is still subject to resolution of appeals. However some excerpts from the document are available via the links below. Chapter 1 includes a summary of the structure of the chapters. These will be updated when the next edition of the TP58 is released.
