Polly (ex Skovland)
3 masted schooner
Originally named Skovland, the Polly was built in Porsgrund, Norway in 1891 by M.A. Martinsen. She was a wooden three-masted schooner of 339 tons, and measured 137 x 29 x 13 feet.

| 1908 | The vessel is said to have 'broken her back' in Whangarei in about 1908. In November of that year the Polly was purchased by the Union Steamship Company and converted to a hulk. |
| 1927 | The hulk of the Polly was condemned in 1927. |
| Disposal | On 22 June 1928 she was filled with rubbish and burnt alongside the rocks at the southeastern end of the Boulder Bay beach on the north side of Rangitoto Island. |
| TODAY | The remains of the Polly have yet to be identified but wreckage from the vessel is likely to be present at Boulder Bay and/or the beach to the west. |
