Why are these products hazardous?
They can harm people and the environment because they are:
- toxic (poisonous)
- flammable
- corrosive or caustic (causes burns)
- chemically reactive.
If you have these chemicals in your home, they must be:
- stored properly
- labelled accurately
- disposed of safely.
