Environmental Awareness Surveys
The Environmental Awareness Survey (EAS) is an annual telephone survey of 1,600 residents in the Auckland region. The purpose of this survey is to monitor residents' perceptions and awareness about living in the Auckland Region, aspects of the region's natural and built environment, and perceptions of services provided by the Auckland Regional Council.
The survey has undergone changes in methodology and question wording in each iteration, so the results may not be directly comparable to surveys undertaken in other years.
