Changes to this website
The Auckland Regional Council website is changing
On 1 November 2010 the new Auckland Council will come into existence replacing the current eight councils in the Auckland region.
While this website will continue to exist, you will notice some changes in the next couple of weeks. From 28 October you will find some content on the Auckland Council website and some content will remain on this website.
What you will be able to find on the Auckland Council website
Much of the information about the new Auckland Council and its services is being standardised. You will be able to find the following on the Auckland Council website:
- Property and rates search
- Resource and building consents
- Events
- Contact information
- News
- About Auckland Council
- Beach water quality
What you will still be able to find on this website
We’re still working on standardising all council information. Some key information about the former Auckland Regional Council will still remain on this website, including:
- Regional parks information, including bookable facilities and tracks
- Plans
- Archived agendas and minutes
- Archived news
Transport and water
Information about transport and water has moved.
- The Auckland Transport website is now the home of services including parking, roads, footpaths and cycleways.
- Wastewater and water supply information is now on the Watercare Services website.
