Kahikatea Land Ltd

Kahikatea land Limited seeks resource consents associated with a cleanfill development. The proposal is to create a cleanfill of approximately 1,147,000m3 of fill over an area of approximately 8.5 hectares. This project will include the construction of roading within the property, site offices and stormwater management devices. A 7.0m wide by 13.75m long bridge is to be constructed to cross the existing stream approximately 200m from Kahikatea Flat Road. Rodney District Council publicly notified the land use application in April 2008. The hearing of that application has not yet been held.

Any person may make a written submission on the applications to the Auckland Regional Council no later than 4.30pm on the submission closing date. The submission must be dated, signed and include the following information:

  1. Your name, postal address, telephone No. and fax No. (if applicable);
  2. Details of the application in respect of which you are making the submission, including location;
  3. Whether you support or oppose the applications;
  4. The reasons for your submission, including any conditions you may wish the Council to include if a decision is made to grant the application;
  5. Whether you wish to be heard in support of your submission.

Submissions are to be served on the Auckland Regional Council, and may be posted or delivered to the ARC office, the address and fax number for service are stated above.
