Environment awards
The ARC Sustainable Environment Awards celebrate those individuals, groups, schools and business in our community who care for our environment and heritage and who work towards a sustainable Auckland region.
The Sustainable Environment Awards are held every two years. Winners for 2007 were announced at an awards ceremony on 9 August 2007.
Judging criteria
Judging criteria includes:
- Benefit to the environment
- Community participation
- Significance to the local community
- Leadership and innovation
- Sustainable management practices
- Project resilience
- Overall sustainability of your project
