EIF 2010 recipients

In 2010 the ARC allocated $400,480 to 112 projects around the Auckland region.

Examples of projects funded in 2010 include:

• animal and plant pest control
• restoring marae grounds
• promotion of community awareness of environmental and heritage issues
• restoration of cultural heritage buildings
• riparian planting and fencing to keep stock out
• ecosourced native plant propagation unit
• sustainable gardening
• native forest restoration

The 2010 EIF round received sponsorship from Honda New Zealand. The Honda TreeFund contributed over $50,000 to support planting native trees.
