Agrichemical application and use
- Agrichemical spraying for weed and pest control is considered a Permitted Activity under the ALW Plan and does not require a resource consent. However, compliance with conditions of the Permitted Activity Rule is required.
- General conditions for all types of applications include ensuring that agrichemicals do not drift over the neighbouring property boundary, the application must be in accordance with the Code of Practice for the Management of Agrichemicals - NZ Agrichemical Education Trust and the manufacturer's label recommendations.
