Arapawa
The Arapawa
Arapawa (official number 108090) was a single screw steam ship.
Built in Paisley in 1908 by J. Fullerton & Co, she was a steel hulled, schooner-rigged vessel measuring 120 feet in length and 128 tons (registered).

Disposal
In March 1941 the ship was dismantled, and on 8 April the hulk was dumped on Rangitoto Island.
Today
The remains of the Arapawa have yet to be positively identified amongst the ship remains on the northern side of Rangitoto Island. The vessel was beached at the southeast end of Wreck Bay.
