Artist in Residence
The Artist in Residence programme gives artists an opportunity to live and work on a regional park for up to 8 weeks.
The purpose of the residency programme is to share with park visitors, an artist's insight and view of the environment.
Portions, extracts and copies of the work they produce while on site are later interpreted for the public, often in the park in which they worked.
The 2009 artists in residence Johanna Pegler and Siobhan Harvey have now completed their residencies at Awhitu Regional Park.
