Artist in Residence
The Auckland Regional Council (ARC) is giving an artist the opportunity to live and work on a regional park through its Artist in Residence project.
Visual artists and other creators including writers, composers and choreographers are invited to apply.
The residency would suit an artist who is self sufficient and open to working in the outdoors.
The artist in residence will live and work on a regional park for up to 8 weeks. They can immerse themselves in another scene and soak up the sounds and scenarios of their natural surroundings.
There is a choice of three residency sites, in locations near the forest, beach or wetlands. This accommodation is provided free and an artists fee is offered to contribute to the creative process.
For more information read the attached documents or phone 09 366 2000 ext 8038.
