The lodge is situated next to a safe beach, which is part of Huia Bay and adjacent to the Waitakere Ranges.

Directions:

Follow the north western motorway (State Highway 16), take exit 8 for Great North Road and follow the signs to Titirangi. From Titirangi, Turn onto Huia Rd at roundabout, travel through Laingholm and Parau to Huia. Huia Lodge is located on the right hand side of the road.

All year, bookings up to 12 months in advance. Use of abseiling site at Karamatura must be booked in advance. No additional charge.
