Restricted access to Cascade Kauri car park until Christmas 2008

There will be no public vehicle access to the Cascade Kauri car park on weekdays until Christmas 2008. Alternative parking will be available at the Waitakere Golf Course car park and a marked walking track will take you from there to Cascade Kauri.

We're maintaining the road between the Golf Course and the park car park, widening it where possible, protecting this special part of the Waitakere Ranges, making the road safer for our visitors and fixing up the drainage system.

Full public vehicle access to the Cascade Kauri car park will be available Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
