Review of the RPMP

The Regional Parks Management Plan 2010 was adopted by the Council on 30 August 2010, following a two year review.

We received over 500 written submissions on the draft Regional Parks Management Plan from individuals and organisations from across the Auckland region. A total of 13 individuals and 33 organisations attended the hearings to make oral submissions. Thanks to all submitters for the time and effort they put in to their submissions.

Following conclusion of the hearings, the sub-committee entered a process of deliberating on the submissions and evidence received, and the additional information provided. Informed by the submissions, the sub-committee made decisions on the final content draft RPMP.
