On 29 June 2009, the Auckland Regional Council adopted its LTCCP 2009-19 with the approval of the Auckland Transition Agency and Audit New Zealand (refer Audit opinion below ). This plan was the result of consultation with the public on a draft plan in April through May and responds to other uncertainties relating to governance and transport.
The Long-Term Council Community Plan (LTCCP) 2009-19 is the ARC's plan for the next 10 years with specific detail around the first three years (2009-12). It also incorporates the Annual Plan 2009/10. The LTCCP identifies the ARC's role in achieving a sustainable, liveable and prosperous region - it's about your region, your future.

As part of the LTCCP, the Council adopted a Schedule of Administrative Charges for 2009/10. The schedule outlines the fees that can be collected from consent holders under section 36 of the Resource Management Act 1991.
